Dive eat repeat

Our dives are getting better and better. the vis was not so clear but our guide pointed out an electric clam and the teeniest white seahorse -maybe a centimetre tall? And apparently that is a big one.

We finished our dive over a boat wreck. Interesting to see corals and sponges colonising it. I think maybe it was deliberately sunk it was anchored to concrete blocks and our boat anchored to it. It makes a safe anchor point in a good dive spot.

The captain had all 3 outboards on as we head home. So hungry ..

The speed was justified .Just delicious. The fish had lemon grass and lime leaf.

Jama
Surti

I did both in a bit more than an hour.

These  ladies came after lunch to sell sarongs and bracelets. I don’t want either of those . With Sven I asked if they would sit for a portrait. One hour for $10/ 100,000 rupiah. I got to practise Indonesian .  The first lady (Surti) has 2 children. Aged 19 and 12 the older is at college in Manado doing hotel studies.  Her husband’s job my language failed me and I couldn’t work it out. The second lady (Jama) has  children aged 24 and 16 her husband is a fisherman. Her oldest is unemployed and the other at school. They are from the Muslim village.

They were impressed by my drawing. I’m glad they thought I had made them pretty.

This is when they are going home. There was no boat, so they were walking 3 kms

And yes, I asked them for permission for the photo and if it was ok to put it on sosmed/social media. And I wasn’t surprised when another guest took a photo of us without asking any of us..I’m sure we are on Facebook right now
